    An electrical or internal mechatronic sensor fault can trigger limp mode, loss of gears or a gearbox warning.

    The gearbox controller has detected an internal performance or supply-voltage problem and requires proper electrical diagnosis.

  • P2716Pressure-control solenoid fault

    Poor hydraulic pressure regulation can cause harsh changes, delayed engagement or no drive.

The 0CW is the later MQB development of the seven-speed dry-clutch DQ200.

  • P189CHydraulic pressure too low

    The pump, pressure accumulator or mechatronic hydraulic circuit may be unable to build or retain enough pressure.

  • P0841Pressure sensor implausible

    An incorrect hydraulic-pressure signal can cause emergency running, flashing PRNDS or loss of drive.

  • P176F / P174DClutch regulation fault

    The controller cannot regulate a clutch or actuator as expected, commonly causing poor engagement or missing gears.

  • TAKE-OFFJudder when pulling away

    Dry-clutch wear, contamination or adaptation outside limits can produce shuddering and hesitant engagement.

    The transmission limits torque because clutch temperature is excessive, often accompanied by a gearbox warning.

    An internal electrical or circuit-board fault can interrupt main hydraulic-pressure control.

  • P174ASub-gearbox valve electrical fault

    A mechatronic valve or its internal circuit can fail, causing missing gears, emergency mode or harsh operation.

  • P179EDrive position sensor electrical fault

    The gearbox may lose reliable selector-position information and display a malfunction warning.

    The gearbox cannot reliably determine an internal drive position, which can prevent gear selection.

  • P2884Engine disconnect clutch stuck

    The K0 engine-disconnect clutch remains open or closed. The vehicle may stay in electric drive, enter emergency mode or fail to bring in the combustion engine.

  • P0867Transmission pressure too low

    A pressure drop in the hydraulic or mechatronic circuit can cause a gearbox warning, harsh engagement, limp mode or loss of drive.

  • P0810Clutch position control error

    The controller cannot regulate the commanded clutch position correctly, often causing poor take-up, judder or a hybrid-system warning.

  • P07A3 / P07A5K1 or K2 clutch stuck closed

    A clutch or hydraulic-control fault prevents the affected clutch from releasing correctly and can leave gears unavailable or the gearbox in emergency mode.
